Issue #6 (12-24-22) - This Weeks Self-Improvement "Inner Circle" Newsletter - The Holiday Addition
Positivity for Body, Mind, and Spirit
This subscription newsletter serves a demographic of highly intelligent readers, deep thinkers, life hackers, preppers, entrepreneurs, and survivalists. I especially focus on those with a passion for ideas, critical thinking, self-awareness, healing, the arts, personal development, and a desire to understand the world around them.
Readers of my posts are usually tired of being patronized elsewhere by fact-less, opinionated know-nothings, misinformation, conspiracy theories, and fake news.
“Joy to the world, and joy to you!”

On a personal note: Please excuse grammatical errors, typos, repetition, and any general nonsense, and such in this post. I am getting a bit older now, and I have about 20,000 pages of information that must get published before I leave the mortal coil. I simply write and publish more than my humble editors are able to correct. If you find enough errors you are welcome to contact me about being an editor of my work.
Thanks for sharing this newsletter with your friends and associates -

This is the sixth newsletter in an ongoing series created for my Inner Circle Members at Substack.com
Over the years I have always enjoyed reading all the diverse sections of the Sunday New York Times, and watching CBS Sunday Morning. This newsletter, prepared weekly for my paid subscribers to the Ask Lewis Inner Circle is my humble attempt to share what I experienced picking through all those pages of diverse information, and watching the wonderful segments on the television show.
Usually, every Friday evening you'll be receiving a special long-form newsletter containing incredible articles and videos.
This week I send you joy and wishes for a happy holiday season
Some Positive Thoughts for this Holiday Season
If you are a positive thinker this can be the most wonderful time of the year, because many of the people around you see the world with more hope, sense of possibility, and the resolution of problems, than they might during the rest of the year.
Of course, as with most things in a dualistic reality there will be plenty of chaos - Last-minute gift shopping, deep cleaning before loved ones arrive, cooking for hours, and dealing with the winter storm that just blew in (they say the worst storm in for decades).
If you are not mindful, with grounded emotions, and clarity of thought it is easy to get frantic, vexed by everything, and generally overwhelmed.
Of course, there are those of us, who take this time every year to experience extreme clinical depression that is not likely to pass on until January 2!
If you are depressed, don’t worry about it. Listen to Rudolph, Little Saint Nick, Mariah,
and of course the surreal video of David Bowie singing “Little Drummer Boy” with Bing Crosby…
Then there is Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah Song for depressed Jews and wanna be Jews…
If this is all to annoying you can listen to Elvis sing a depressing Xmas song…
And of course there’s Springsteen celebrating Santa (See the video below).
By the way, Bruce says he’s been on anti-depressant medication for decades.
It’s a shame he never read my book Healing Depression Naturally
Si, whether Up or down, or happy or sad, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Wicca, Jew, Christian, Athiest, Agnostic or undecided, remember to embrace all the moments that spark happiness and meaning in your life, even the ones that come with a bit of struggle. As your holiday traditions arrive, take a break to smile, give yourself or someone else a hug, and enjoy it all.
President Joe Biden, attempting to strike a unifying message in a Christmas speech to the nation Thursday, called for the "poison" to be drained from politics in favor of bipartisan cooperation. He also encouraged reaching out to connect with loved ones over the holidays, considering the years of isolation brought on by the pandemic. "No one can ever know what someone else is going through, what's really going on in their life, what they're struggling with... that's why sometimes the smallest act of kindness can mean so much," Biden remarked. "So, this Christmas, let's spread a little kindness."
