On a personal note: Please excuse grammatical errors, typos, repetition, and any general nonsense, and such in this post. I am getting a bit older now, and I have about 20,000 pages of information that must get published before I leave the mortal coil. I simply write and publish more than my humble editors are able to correct. If you find enough errors you are welcome to contact me about being an editor of my work.

A 2 - Minute Read
Obviously, there are many levels of life hacking, prepperism, intentional living, and survivalism. The form that takes the most skill and knowledge is called off-the-grid or off-grid living.
This lifestyle includes creating shelter, and buildings and having or developing skills specific to an independent manner, one that has no reliance on public utilities.
The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities. Off-the-grid living allows for buildings and people to be self-sufficient, which is advantageous in isolated locations where normal utilities cannot reach and is attractive to those who want to reduce environmental impact and cost of living. Generally, an off-grid building must be able to supply energy and potable water for itself, as well as manage food, waste, and wastewater.
Because off-grid buildings and communities mainly rely on renewable energy, off-grid living is generally good for the environment with little negative impact. Hybrid energy systems also provide communities with a sustainable way to live without the dependence and cost of being connected to public infrastructure that can be unreliable in developing countries. Going off-grid as a whole, when done skillfully is a viable option to help reduce impacts on the environment when replacing grid-connected buildings that contribute to global warming and climate change.
Of course, I have a coaching team skilled at all of this and the necessary elements to do it successfully.
The Takeaway
Generally speaking, at the most basic and PEEPASA (practical, effective, efficient, precise, productive, accurate, and self-aware) level a person who goes “off-grid” needs to procure six essential things for themself (five are needed each and every day). These are…
· shelter,
· power,
· water,
· food,
· safety/security (including medical resources)
· collaboration and reciprocal altruism
